Even though he appears formidable, Hank is by and large the silent type, speaking only when he feels the need to. Ian, on the other hand, is a motormouth, never knowing when he should shut it. And yet, you’d think he would have a drink by now…

This is a drawing for a painting commission that I’m currently working on. Idea was to have a bar/pub with numerous literary authors commiserating with each other. This will be my fourth official pub painting. People seem to like these, for whatever reason.
Final measurement of the drawing was 20” x 38.” It took me 2 days to figure out how to scan the drawing and piece them together with an 8” x 11” scanner. It was painful, but I got it done.
